I am hoping to move across to MAC from PC to enable me to work as an illustrator. What are the minimum sensible requirements I would need to run Photoshop without stalling. A friend has an old MAC which he will loan me to learn the MAC basics until I am proficient enough to buy my own MAC ?

on os7.5 ? , photoshop 3/4, depending on what else is running , 32 mb of ram min, 50-100 mb of drive space, for swap/cache file, and as much for illustrator 5/6, and the monitor that can use thousands of colors settings ...
