I need software and other stuff for a philips cdrw400 for a mac
In order to re install my CDwriter I need the product serial number. This number should be on de CD box or in the book but both got lost here. Does someone have a number ?

For drivers and other CDRW400 related goodies, go to the following address:
Once there, click on "Support & Drivers". On the page that follows, click on "Download Drivers". On the next page which follows, select "Multimedia" from the window in the bottom right hand corner, plus "CD Rewriters". Hit the circle with the triangle inside and this will take you to the next page.In this next page, select the PCA460RW. THIS IS THE CDRW400 SERIES! From there on select whatever driver or files you may need. Good Luck.

Thanks for the driver location. However, I need a driver for the USB cable that came with my series 400. The original driver was on a floppy, and somehow it got misplaced (lost or crunched?). I can't install the CDRW on my new computer because it does not recognize the hardware connected to the cable. Anyone know where I might obtain a replacement?

Bought a PC with a Philips CDRW 400 Series but no drivers or software were included. I need the drivers & software for the PCA460RW, 400 series CDRW internal IDE drive. I need it for Win98. I C no-one has received any help here????? I also read some negative comments about this particular CD burner..... any truths or comments?
