This may be a repost.
Is there any way to connect an Apple Personal Laserwriter 300 to a PC? I realise the PLW 300 uses a ps/1 connector and most PCs use a parallel port. Is there an adapter or whatnot that can help?

First you need the following cable: 8 pin DIN male/DB 25 Male. Available near the Mac printers in COMP USA, or online in any Mac store. The problem I've run into is finding the driver for Windows 98 for the LaserWriter 300. If anyone finds it, please email me!

I just bought two Apple Personal LaserWriter 300's, new in the sealed box, at Office Max for $29 each.
The cable mentioned for attaching to a pc: Is this the standard Apple Modem cable?
For a Windows 98 driver, I suggest you try using the HP LaserWriter III or the HP LaserWriter II driver. Both of these drivers are generic enough that they work successfully with many other brand of printers.
I work on mixed networks of pcs and Mac at several clients and have used the HP generic drivers with Apple printers.

I too have been searching exhaustively for a driver for the Personal LaserWriter 300. I attempted the drivers for HP LaserWriter II and III with no success. If anyone can help me please let me know.
