Well, I've waded through the mess of information on Google (none of which helped me at all) and am still in need of a lot of help. Here's the scenario: I'm a longtime PC user who has recently acquired a Mac Performa 6200CD (75mhz Power PC running OS 7.5) and have absolutely no Mac experience. I did manage to install a 6 gig IDE hard drive in the machine and now it's up and running OS 7.5 just fine. Problem is, I don't know how to network the thing to my PCs. I don't even know what kind of network card I need. I assume I need an old one that goes in the internal communications slot? Could someone kindly tell me which would do the trick so I could get one off of eBay or something? Also, if getting the Mac on my PC network is just too complicated for me right now, could someone tell me how to at least get Internet access on it? I'd have no problem doing this on an old Wintel machine running Windows 3.1 or 95, but I have no idea where to start with an old Mac.
Any help much appreciated.

Your Mac, the specs state LC expansion slot:

If so the following cards may suffice:

http://www.welovemacs.com/net-lc-10...
Also you need change TCP/IP configuration manager to Open Transport (termed TCP/IP), I believe 7.5.x defaulted to MacTCP protocol

You need the System 7.5 update to 7.5.3 available with other software here:

Thanks for the info. I bought a network card for it off of eBay. I also should be getting someone's old iMac in a week's time getting on the internet and transferring files between the two macs should be much easier I would think.
