Hi everybody, I own an old quadra 840AV and would like to connect it to the internet, can i connect a standard v92 / v90 serial modem, not softmodem/winmodem, to its serial port. Are there any adapters, can i build one? thank you. Is it also possible to use an adapter to connect the embedded (aui-15) lan port to a standard ethernet network? and the use of a adsl ethernet modem? thanks again!

Buy.com sells a StarTech AUI to RJ-45 transceiver for $14.10, which would allow you to use the Ethernet port. (CDW sells the same part for $23) You may be able to find such a device on eBay more cheaply as well.
