I have an old powerbook 5300 with the original 1.1 GB HD in it. I have a 2 GB Hitachi S.M.A.R.T. HD. Can I use the 2 GB HD in the powerbook, the reason i'm asking is because the 1.1 GB has the apple logo on it, and the 2 GB doesn't...plus its a SMART drive. I dont want to mess something up. thanks

As long as they're both the same interface, it should
work fine, though you may need to use a hacked version
of Drive Setup to format the non-Apple drive.
