I have a apple imac, I put password into her, and then went into mac os classic mode, i then went to return to macos 9 mode, the new version and I am unable to render the password from my memory banks? I cannot remeber the password in other words for mac os 9. i am in classic mode, and want to operate via the hardrive chooser via the starup disk, MAC OS z1- 9.2.2 I am using mac os X 10.3.2 classic mode, I cannot remember the password, If u can help or if u know someone who, maybe you can pass on a tip.   NSARQADR

I'm not quite sure what you are getting at, but I know that under mac os X, when you have password problems, you restart from the mac OS cd holding down a key (might be option, but I'll try and find out to be sure) and then in the apple menu (or file) you have a menu for controlling passwords - maybe there is also a control for classic/any other os 9 mode. try doing that with option and/or apple key and in the mean time I will try and find out what key it is. schnub
