Reply: (edit)You're kidding, right? Netscape is the most horrible abomination of a mail client ever to invade the computer industry. If you want to avoid M$'s crapware, use Eudora. p

Reply: (edit)This might be caused by lack of memory. Try compacting/rebuilding the memory -- launch Outlook while holding down the option key. Worked for me, anyway.

Reply: (edit)I received the same error message: "Unable to launch Outlook Express due to this error message." I attempted compact the database, but was unable to do so. Dialog box told me that database could not be repaired. I also trashed OE preferences from the system folder. That did not work either. Additionally, I trashed my preferences from the OE identity folder. Finally, I've rebuilt the desktop. Nothing has worked. This problem presented itself after a coworker optimized their hard drive with Norton.
