Comment:

i'm having a problem where if i use
classic (as i sometimes have to) when i
turn my mac off and start up again it
sometimes boots up in OS9.2. This only
happens sometimes (as far as i can tell
its random) and i have to reinstall OSX
although when i do everythings seems to
be as it was before. Last time it did it it
didnt even boot up in OS9 i just agot a
floppy icon instead of the smiley face.

I've ticked a box that says 'boot up in OSx
everytime' (or something to that effect) but
it still does it.

Is this a software problem and if so can i
get apple to swop it for me?
or is it a hardware problem?

thanks for any help you can give me :)

Reset your PRAM and make sure the OS X volume is selected in the Startup Disk control panel.
