I am attempting to run osx on my pc. I am experiencing a
whole bunch of problems but maybe someone can
diagnose one major source for it all. I have 3 hds hooked
up through SATA and 2 DVD Drives through IDE. In order
to boot my osx hd up I need to disable IDE ports in the
bios or I get an extension
"com.apple.driver.pioneersuperdrive" has no kernel
dependency still waiting for root driver. When I do get
into osx it seems to be running a little choppy. I can't
change the resolution for my widescreen monitor (maybe
do to the fact that I have no osx driver for my xfx 6800
graphics card) Also I checked my system profiler and it
says my hard drives exist through my ATA bus not SATA.
ANy idea how to solve any of these problems

I think maybe updating my osx version from 10.4.1 to the
latest update would fix a lot of the problems however when I
tried installing teh update it tells me that my systme doesn't
meet requirments when it does. I have a 250gb hard drive
but my osx is on a 6gb partition with only 1.7gb free. Is
there a way to add the remaining space to the 6gb partition
or even a serpate hfs plus partition? I tried to do it with the
disk utitly but it tells me that I can't make a parition on the
hard drive because it has osx installed on it. What can I do?
Thanks in advanced

If you install any updates, it will break the OSX install on non-apple machines. Look on google on how to go about updating x86-OSX tiger on non-apple systems.
