Hi, I am trying to install OSX to my imac with 9.1 on it. I put in the OSX install disk and it restarts and when the install prompt comes up, it asks for the language. After picking english I click continue, it will go to the next step. It will read packages and after awhile it will freeze. Then I can't continue the install. Any help? Thanks.

Three things -

1. You NEED OS 9.2.2 to install OS X. Don't attempt the install without it.

2. Make sure you iMac has the latest firmware.

3. Make sure you have at least 256 MB of RAM.

If that dosen't work, post back.
