I have got brand new power book g4 15" with 1Ghz/ 512Mb RAM and OSX 10.7.2 which keeps unexpectedly crashing at random circumstances. I tried clean reinstall of the OS few times but did not help....Could anyone help, whatto do. My suspect is on battery/powerring issue, since it happens as far asi remember when i am running my comp. in battery mode !!!!!

Yeah... 10.7.2 seems to crash a lot.. where is the transmission point of your power supply? there has been a few interference errors from the satellite that is in orbit around pluto. I had the same problem and apple said that i need to contact their space support centre. Something to do with plutonium leaks on my firewire slot. They have a power supply routing table currently set up on Mars but this apparently has been subject to terrorist attacks. Other than that try resetting the p-ram and reinstalling osx 10.2...

have since found the problem: Microsoft-Apple Inc say that being as your battery is non microsoft and you have used a 3rd party S. Hussein Nuclear Electrical Co type battery, this could cause a problem as the support drivers for that battery are no longer available on their website. You need to upgrade the machine and install all the microsoft crash plugins. If they crash then you need to downgrade your version of osx and use Apples version of 10.2, but Apple- Microsoft will not offer you any support on this particular OS as they havent ran a windows update yet.
