I have a computer running win98 with a cable modem connection to the internet. I would like to use the network card in my Mac performa (os 8) and the other network card in my pc to share one internet connection. The pc is the faster of the two computers so i would like to do it through the pc.

OK, thanks for you help. I have alread read ALL the posts and not one addresses drictly sharing an internet connection. Maybe you should read them jerk.
Anyway, using DAVE althought it was extemely nice to be able to share files it didn't help me in sharing the internet connection. PC-mac lan, which has recieved such great reviews, screwed up on the PC side, and i had to revert my hard drive back to about 3 days before i installed it because it was so freaked up so i dont know if that would have worked or not. So i still have no internet on my mac. (There was no way that i was going to pay $149-199 to by either one of those programs anyway) I have heard of a site called vicomsoft.com, i believe and i am going to check on that. I will let everyone know how that works.
