Comment: Hi, As a newcomer to Macs from PC's I've come across two things that I can't figure out how to change in the Mac that one can in Windows - and I find it hard to believe that Windows could actually be easier for this. A co-worker uses various sounds for alerts. In OS 9.x there was a sound called log jam - like a power saw. He'd like to use that as an alert in OS X. I've searched an OS 9 machine for the file that makes the sound and I can't find it, even though I can choose that particular sound on the machine. I'm wondering where on the OS 9.x machine I will find the sound, and then, where do I copy it to the OS X machine so that my co-worker can use it. The Sound control in System Preferences doesn't seem to allow for adding new sounds. Second question is the Machine Name screen saver that shows a Silver Apple and the machine name against a black background. Is there any way to edit this? At work, we have specfic machine names for using Remote Desktop, so I can't change that. I'd just like to have the screen saver with a message like "Gone to Lunch" instead of the machine name, that doesn't mean anything to anyone. Thanks for any help! John
