Old Monitor Problem

I have an old Apple Colour Plus 14" Display. Whenever it's on and connected, all that's seen is a bright white line across the center of the screen. Is this something easily fixed, or should I just dispose of it?

Sounds like the deflection circuitry has a bad solder joint in it somewhere. As you didn't specify the line being horizontal or vertical I can't say which of the two is bad, but that's a horrible monitor in the first place and IMO not worth fixing unless you're desperate for monitors.
