Try searching for Abandonware if the company don't sell it anymore its called Abandonware

I am in a similar situation of wanting old software as I upgrade. I have an LCIII and I would be very interested to trade information about finding old software. I looked on Abandonware sites and saw mostly games. I am looking for old WordPerfect 3.0 or 3.5 for a Mac as well as other old Mac prgrams. I am finding that no one handles any disk software at all which makes it tough with an old Mac.
