Office Test Drive - Conflicts

Original Message

Subject: Office Test Drive - Conflicts
OS: MAC OS X
CPU/Ram: Not sure
Model/Manufacturer: Apple Powerbook
Comment:
I have Microsoft Office Test Drive installed on my mac and
have been using it for quite some time. Recently I
purchased a full version and so I removed the Test Drive
version and install the purchased version. Both are 2004
version. However, when I go to open Entourage, I cannot
because there's some kind of version conflict. I then
uninstall Office and reinstalled the Test Drive version and
now I can open Entourage and retrieve all my email
messages.

The problem is I can continue to use the Test Drive
version as it will expire and I can print anything from it.
What should I do? Anyone else with similar problems?

there's an application hidden away called "Remove Office". it
will be on the installer CD and in "Additional Applications"
inside Office 2004 folder. it was created just for this kind of
thing. HOWEVER.... HOWEVER...

B A C K U P your 'Microsoft User Data' folder. what do you
think Remove Office will do if you select the wrong option vis
a vis deleting your original User Data folder?
