No video on .asf files in OS X

When I open .asf and .wmv file in WMP for OSX, I
can't see the video. I can on older .asf and .wmv
files, just not those made for "wmp9". Same
problem using VLC and MPlayer. Is there
something I can download to fix this? Or, does
anyone know how to convert an .asf or .wmv file
using Cleaner 6. I heard that worked, but I can't
figure it out.

Damn M$. Any rumors about a release date for
newer versions of WMP for OS X?
