Reply: (edit)You can't install OS X on a PC without some major hacking, and PC's can't read OS X formatted hard drives without 3rd party utilities. What is the iBook doing? no power at all? do you get the start up chime? Would help to know what model of iBook it is as well.

Reply: (edit)try resetting the PMU. Once you figure out the model of the iBook, use the instructions on this page... <http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=14449>
