Imac OS 9.0.4 When I click on the
Internet Explorer icon it takes me to this
window
http://home.netscape.com/apple.adp
Is it somehow transferring me to
Netscape? The words Internet Explorer
are in the upper right corner where the
finder is. I do not want to use Netscape.
Can you tell me what to do to make sure
I'm using I.E.? Thanks

You're not using Netscape. The home page on IE
is set to the Netscape page by Apple.

If you want to change it, open to another page or a
blank page, go to the Preferences of IE, under the
File Menu, and you'll see where to change it.

Thanks Bob, I found what you were
referring to under web brower. I didn't
change it. Actually, I was hoping I was
using netscape and could change it to
I.E.. Since I downloaded IE 5.1.5 my
computer has been freezing and crashing
a lot. Can't play solitaire at pogo.com.
Computer makes grinding noises and
freezes. Can't play simslots.com. Yahoo
maps are okay. Internet is okay. If I use
I.E. 4.5 solitaire is okay at pogo. Mystery!
