Comment: Imac OS 9.0.4 When I click on the Internet Explorer icon it takes me to this window http://home.netscape.com/apple.adp Is it somehow transferring me to Netscape? The words Internet Explorer are in the upper right corner where the finder is. I do not want to use Netscape. Can you tell me what to do to make sure I'm using I.E.? Thanks

Reply: (edit)You're not using Netscape. The home page on IE is set to the Netscape page by Apple. If you want to change it, open to another page or a blank page, go to the Preferences of IE, under the File Menu, and you'll see where to change it.

Reply: (edit)Thanks Bob, I found what you were referring to under web brower. I didn't change it. Actually, I was hoping I was using netscape and could change it to I.E.. Since I downloaded IE 5.1.5 my computer has been freezing and crashing a lot. Can't play solitaire at pogo.com. Computer makes grinding noises and freezes. Can't play simslots.com. Yahoo maps are okay. Internet is okay. If I use I.E. 4.5 solitaire is okay at pogo. Mystery!
