Netscape 7.01 install error

I just downloaded Netscape 7.01 to replace 6.2 that is installed on my PowerBook. When I attempt to install 7.01 I get the following message: "Installation failed due to error: - 1003:" I've downloaded 7.01 twice and the same thing keeps happening. Anyone know what's going on?

What I'm really trying to do is find a way to move my archived mail from Netscape 6.2.2 to Outlook Express. The OE import function doesn't work with 6.2 (which has no export function), but I was hoping that after "upgrading" to Netscape 7 I could use its export function to convert my mail files.

Does Netscape not have a section for installation errors on their site?
And, I just looked at OE. It imports from Netscape 4 on up. Netscape doesn't need to export.

Why the *hell* are you downgrading to OE? I mean, Netscape is a horrible e-mail client, but OE is even worse...

I can't speak for the OS 9 version, but Entourage (and Office, for that matter) v.X is the only Micro$soft product I actually like and use on a regular basis.

I'm getting the same exact error when trying to install Netscape 6 on my iBook which is still running OS 9.1. There doesn't seem to be much to try here--you click INSTALL and it tries for a while and then gives the error message. I have no clue what to try next.
I'm trying to put Netscape 6 up because it is the recommended browser for the AAA Internet Triptik application, which I am trying to use. Netscape 4.7 just doesn't cut it.

Use iCab or IE instead. Netscape 6 was *AWFUL* on the Classic Mac OS.
