Comment:

I have an image file of virtual pc that I need to mount on my desktop. I heard of using "disc copy" but I cant find it on this version of mac osx tiger, ive tried 3 different versions of the shrink wrap demo and it wont finish installing dude to a missing file. and yes i have os9 support installed , when I tried to mount it with toast it opened in itunes and made a bunch of noise. im guessing disc copy is my last chance but I dont see it on my computer and its not on the bundled software restore cds that came with my imac g5. what do am I to do? thanks for any help as I am really very stumped.

Disk Utility in your Utility folder.

Or, open Terminal - type mount then a space and drag the
file to that window.

thanks for the response but I dont quite understand I think id do better with a little more detailed instructions,

this is the way the disc image file is set up

its a dmg. then the computer mounts it
on my desktop inside of the white drive icon is the file , its blank, my computer doesnt know which application to open it with..

in disc utility the drive appears to be mounted. but I cant do anything with the blank file inside.

The method with the terminal what do I do after I type mount then a space and drag the file in. do I hit enter? nothing happens.

thanks so much for any help.

Dude,

i dont think this is a very "legal" image of virtual pc, but here's what u should do...
Install toast 6 Titanium and right-click the
file to open it with it
then press MOUNT on the first screen that appears on toast and u're DONE!

Siggyzzz
