I purchased a used G4 733 that has osX on it and I need to run os9 for my protools LE software to work. I am new to the mac world and would appreciate any info on what I need to do. Thanks!

Will the ProTools software run on Classic?

If not, the best method is to backup all your data, repartition the drive, restore your OS X to one partition, and buy an OS 9 disk (if you don't already have one) and install it on the other partition.

Although the guy who sold you the machine really should have included the CDs that came with it, since they won't work on anything *but* QuickSilvers...
