Hey guys, I want to buy an iPod and I would like to know what is the best choice between and iPod nano 4GB and a 30 GB iPod. I am not going to use that much memory for songs, but my concern is if it is really worth it spend more money in the 30GB iPod to watch movies, or to spend less and just get the space thta I would need with the 4Gb iPod nano. Is the video quality of the 30 Gb iPod really good as to spend 50 dollars more. Thanks in advanced.

You would not regret purchasing the 30GB iPod even if
you never use the video capability. As part of my
Christmas bonus this last year my store gave everyone in
the company a 60GB iPod with video. I have converted
about a dozen movies thus far and had fun watching them
in various places, most usefully while stading in lines for
hours doing my shopping for the season. Now with work
and school responsibilities again placing pressure on me I
never use the video functionality. I have enjoyed the
increased capacity from my old 20GB third generation
iPod however to hold more music, most of my pictures, all
of my contacts and calendars and to keep text based
notes transferred from my computer. The iPod nano is an amazing gaget and you would be
happy with this product as well. They are nearly
indestructable because their memory is flash based which
means solid state storage. What this means to you and I
is that there are no moving parts inside to develop
problems. It is more expensive than the iPod 30GB so if
you want more bang for your buck go with the larger
version, otherwise get the nano for mere smallness. Good
luck finding any 4GB models anywhere other than
apple.com right now though. They are nigh to impossible
to find physically anywhere in these post-Christmas
times.
