Hi,
Today I was out and about, and I was able to rescue an old Apple II GS out of the trash! I was able to fire it up and it tries to boot from the floppy drive, but says no boot device. It has a monitor, 3.5", and 5" floppy disk drives. I have two questions (Sorry, I have no experience with Apple computers):1. I have no input for it. Do I need a special keyboard or mouse. Where can I get one? Can I use my standard PS/2 keyboard?
2. More complicated, where can I get old software for it. I would love to get some old games or something for it. Can I download such things off the internet? I assume I would have to put them on a floppy disk. I only have a Windows XP PC (With a floppy drive). Can I download such software? Would I need a special program to properly format a disk to be read by the apple II GS? Thank you so much for you input!

1. PS2 keyboard won't work. There's a PS2 to ADB adapter available, but I'm not sure if it works with a keyboard (http://www.infogrip.com/textsite/product_view.asp?RecordNumber=141). I have this particular adapter and it works great with a PS2 mouse...and at that price you should just buy an actual ADB keybaord (http://www.macandpcstation.com/servlet/the-100/Apple-Keyboard-II/Detail). It's way cheaper.
2. Check out this site for some possible downloadable software (http://www.portents.com/marek/apple.html)
Check ebay and google for other parts you might need. I'm sure they're out there.
