hi!...i 've got an old MacIIcx. i wish to see it connected to the lan i'm planning. since it came with an asante-mc3nb bnc-ethernet card (nubus) i thought it would be possible to link it to the net using a bnc/rj45 adapter. i found such a trap (ibm brand) and now i'm desperately trying to make my imac and macIIcx talk together using a crossover cable and apple talk (macII runs 7.5.3). i guess i'm missing something (maybe an ethernet card sw?) - with other macs i had no problems...even if the question was a little bit different. i know: i can get rj45 card for few $$ but wouldn't be better to bring the old asante to a new life?
