Where can I get some Music Editing Freeware? I don't want anything too complicated. Just something simple that will cut a track and fade one track into another

Good luck finding a *simple* editing program - free or otherwise :) Actually, i have not found any freeware music editing apps that were really usable (i possibly have different needs than you , however)..some shareware seemed suitable..however, i didn't try them all! I usually end up using the (very old) commercial app Soundedit 16 for basic tasks, but as for free or share ware, if it exists, it's very probably here: http://www.pure-mac.com/audio.html
