Do you need special adapter cables to hook up a monitor to the Power Mac G4's? I'm thinking of buying a G4, and I'm looking at getting a third-party flat-panel monitor, like ViewSonic or Philips. They all say Mac compatible, but I was wondering if that's only after you buy something extra. Are monitor connections pretty much standardized between PC's and Macs? What's with the Apple Display Connector?

Apple has been putting VGA connectors on their OEM video cards from ATI and nVidia for quite some time now, so you shouldn't need an adapter.
