I have a EIZO monitor on a G4 Mac. For no reason I can determine the screen stays blank. when I start up (could be dead but I don’t think so). I attached a Sony Trinitron. No change.
I read another monitor problem in this forum which suggested that the extensions should be turned off using shift. I tried that the screen came alive and I got the extensions list which I have turned off. However the screen only stayed readable till it completed the checking intro. A moment after the Mac OS 9.2 screen came on it went blank.
I have gone through all the queries with Monitor in the suject line. I do not know what the Extensions are.
I am stuck now because I have some invoices to get out, but can do nothing till the machine is up and running.
