I have recently bought a macbook pro, but need to import all the old emails i was using on my windows laptop. (XP) I was using Mozilla Thunderbird on the windows, and am now using 'Mail' on the mac. I have tried moving the mail between Thunderbird on windows to thunderdbird on mac but that doesn't work Using 'mail' on the Mac I can import from a back up USB drive that stores my previous windows mail. After a great deal of trouble it did import all my old mailboxes and mail. However, although the mail looks like it is there, when i open it, it gives me a message that reads 'The message from XXXXX concerning (email title) has not been downloaded from the server. You need to take this account online in order to download it. I believe the mail is there, as the mailbox size is large, but I cannot see it, or 'mail' does not want to open it. It's proving a real problem. Any solutions gratefully received. Failing that any other ideas for im porting of mail from Windows to Mac
