Comment:
My school district had planned on dumping (2 Pallets of old mac classic computers and about (65) Mac LC III in the land fill a week ago. I asked why they don't put them up for sale at public auction and they said they were not worth selling. But the IT director said if I want them I could have them. Now I need to know these surely won't work for e-mail or internet? Right?? what good are they? I just couln't see them all being dumped into the landfill. Any thoughts are they going to be worth alot of money some day to a collecible? Thanks for your input. Janet

The Classics: Look up "Macquarium" in any search engine. Honestly, the classics can be used for basic modem based text e-mail, but would not be good for internet browsing. They also can be used for word processing, Bar Code reading and generating, Used as a nifty night lite too! I Mean this: Can you ship me two or three of them (NY 11563)?

Bet you'd find takers on Ebay. You could sell them in lots to make it easier, but packaging and shipping will be a pain. You could say "local only."
There are probably many other "antique" Mac sites on the net with people looking for older Macs. You could have a Mac garage sale and advertise it on said Mac sites. (No shipping hassles!)
Or if you're an artist you can make a cool art piece out of them, entitled "Technology Discarded."
