Mail wont open????

I downloaded and installed a plug in for mail and now my Mail wont even open ( when I click on it it will bounce as if it is opening but dosent open to the mailbox window ). Also, once it is open I can't shut down, restart or force quit, have to restart the computer manually. I tried using First Aid at start up, disk repair...didn't work. Any suggestions ;} I probably need to be more specific but not sure how. ;}

try using macos cd to boot computer, and remove added plugin for now,
also may try starting with extensions off (shift key),
check extensions for conflicts...

no, go into the the user account then libray then prefrences and the trashe the com.apple.mail.plist, u should be able to set up you mail agin. if that doesn't work trash the mail folder in laibery, but you eill lose your emails. the 1st is the saftest...email and let me know what happens b101875@aol.com
