Mac/PC Ethernet Hub

My mother has a Mac and connects to the internet using a cable modem. I want to give my father an old PC that I have so he can have his own computer and connect to the internet. Does anyone know what type of hub I can get that will allow both systems to access the internet? Some hubs that I have found have said "designed for PC's" or not specified either way and I want to make sure that I don't have any conflicts.

You don't need a Hub, you need a Router if both machines will be using the modem. Any hub or router will work with Macs or PCs.
Links is a very good router.

to confirm that last responce i have pc's and macs and i have a linksys router/4 port hub combo and it works great, no sortware needed for setting up the provider. just set your internet setting to "see" the router for each computer and set the router up to "see" the internet. works fine
