I just got a Macintosh Plus from a friend. The thing is old as sin, and I can't get it to run. It comes up with a little screen that has a 3.5 floppy disc on it with a blinking qustion mark. Any sugestions?

It is almost for sure that the mac does not have a harddrive that little blinking disk is a prompt asking for a system boot disk. Look around for a boot disk. Maybe try ebay?

Here is the good news, you can make your own boot disks.

The Bad News, the Mac Plus needs an external SCSI hard disk, as joey said above, try ebay to find an old hd.

E- Mail me for more info on the disk image thing.
