I have a stupid problem. Basically, I dont know why, but I accidentally locked my hd on my Mac laptop as read only for the admin. Then I turned it off after a while because I couldnt work my laptop. After which, the laptop wouldnt open anymore. It turns on but it just keeps loading and spinning for a long time. And its only the screen showing without anything else! Please help me!! THANKS!

Boot to the Install Disc, run Disc Utility and repair permissions TWICE then restart. Sounds like voodoo but it may fix this issue. Hope this helps.
