Hi, I was considering buying a macbook for uni (cos i've finally had it with pcs.) I would get the 2.16Ghz with 2Gb of RAM, but you can't customise the graphics - there is an integrated 64Mb card which seems to work in tandem with the RAM. Would this be sufficient to run the most recent games, and/or play DVDs etc, or should i try to get some extra dough for a macbook pro? Thanks, H.

If you're going to be gaming, get the MacBook Pro.

Thanks, but for an extra £350 or so, thats pretty steep... is there any way to fit an alternative graphics card inside a macbook, or is that never going to happen?

It maybe a little steep but it is the way to go. MacBook Pro is a very sleek and sheik notebook and offers better resale should you want to move it on later.

For the most part the Macbook should see you well even with 64meg of memory.

....and no, changing the video card is not an option on a macbook or on most notebooks for that matter they are not really an interchangeable item.
