Comment:

I've just purchased an Apple MacBook Intel Core 2 Duo 1.83GHz

Anyways I'm having problems connecting the airport express wireless network card to my Belkin f5d7630-4a.

It can detect the wireless network but not connect to it (i've turned of all the security features) and reset the router, the firmware is up to date.

my mac can connect to my friend's netgear router and my neighbour's belkin router.

Any help would be appreciated

thank you

:-)

I'm having the exact same problem, any chance that you can
explain how you got it working?

Thanks

Could you please say how you fixed your router problem. I

desktop to connect to my belkin router either

I had the same problem but with Macbook 2GHz and
Belkin F5D7633uk4. I decided that maybe the router
needed firmware update (my last version dated 2004). But
finding the update from Belkin's website was hopeless so i
googled and discovered this useful website:
target="_blank">http://www.wardrive.net/firmware/
be...

I downloaded the only relevant file (didn't know if it would
make any difference at all) and started updating. But there
was a problem i.e it logged out near the end of the
updating process. I then start updating all over again and
the same problem appeared twice more. It was not until
later that I realise it had succesfully updated (but the
updated version is actually dated 2005 not 2006-which
was why I thought it was not successful in the first time
round). I can now go wireless but not entirely certain if it's
because of the firmware update. Best wishes Stephen G

I have the same problem with the Belkin F5D7630-4a.

The MacBook will connect to other wireless routers but not this one. Has anyone got it working with this router?

Any help would be appreciated.
