i need to transfer a lot of files from my power mac to a pc. Is there a way to transfer a lot of files at once? can you transfer folders or do you have to transfer individual files? I understand the Mac Opener utility will help once i have them

You have a couple options... 1. Install VPC (Virtual PC) on your Mac and configure it for the network and simply copy them over...(I know sounds easy, but probably isnt)
2. If this is a one time shot, download a demo copy (www.thursby.com) of Dave and install that on your Mac. Simply attach the mac to your network and copy the files.
Either way will require some sort of software to allow your PC to "see" your mac. But I have used Dave and it was simple. very easy to share files.
Good luck to you.
