Comment:

When sending email w/attachment file that is
less than 100K from Mac to PC, the file is
opened OK. When file is over 400K, the file
is automatically compressed using Stuffit.
When opening file on PC it is garbage. How do
I unstuffit

I would guess that somewhere in your browser preferences is a setting for 'compress files over XXXk" or something like that. Find it and disable it.

What email application are you using? If you are using Claris - it defaults to send attachments as compressed - this could be a function of your email client.

As I said....(scott).....

I would guess that somewhere in your browser (MAYBE CLARIS?) preferences is a setting for "compress files over XXXk" or something like that. Find it and DISABLE it.
