We have a G4 running as server with OS Administrator and about 30 clients (all mac). Seems that many mornings we come in and we all have log messages on our desktops saying that The connection to the server was lost. Usually it's between 1 and 2 am, but sometimes 8 or 10pm.
We then proceed to logon to the server through the chooser and everything is fine (meaning the server is rebooting and automatically loading it's OS, Mail, and FileMaker Server app's as it should.)

But what could be causing this? Any ideas?
One thought I had was to see if somehow it shuts down after a FileServer backup (retrospect run from another admin machine on site).
It's northern California, but I don't think we're having spikes and brownouts THAT regularly yet.
Any advice greatly appreciated!
