any body have news or links about the Project Darwin lanuched by MAC two year ago whoes beta was released back in 2003...after that no news of it........ it was announced by apple that they are developing mac for intel base machine code name darwin i have used its shell based beta...but....??

I believe it was dropped..and understandably so.The complexities of developing any PC platform that would run on anything more than a small percentage of PC's must be enormous, and likely wouldn't give a reasonable return for all the efforts.. Shame really, as i expect Apple would come out with the first PC unix- based OS that i'd really enjoy using, if they did continue.....

its really bad if thats what happened....as i was really waiting for that upcomming version of that os...... apple is a big company...befor launching its newer os news they should have done their paper work and after that...they are doing so
