Is it possible to buy a PowerMac G4 (the new ones, running @ 5.5 gigaflops), format the hard drive, and install Win9x, Me, or 2K? I ask because I want that computational power, but I want the universal support that comes with Windows.
Thanx

No, not possible because of the firmware (= bios on PC) and because windows has no drivers for it (also not supporting the PowerMac processors).

You can try Virtual PC on your Mac, but you'll have to install mac OS first.

My advice: Just buy an AMD-processor (and make your own PC with it).
