I got a mac from a friend to look at, he was trying to do a sys re-install. It took almost 10hrs to re-install cd 1 and it later asked for cd2 and it seems not to be making any process. I know system re-install shouldn't be not more than 2hrs. Also when I power down the mac, it didn't boot up immediately, I have to leave it for like 6/12 hrs before it boots up. Pls what could be wrong?
