Mac Outlook to exchange 2000 ?

I cant seem to connect to my exchange 2000 server using mac outlook 2001 on OS 9.0.4
Keeps giving me network problems are preventing connection. I've tried using a Hosts file:
NW_COUNCIL CNAME nw_council.nwci.com nw_council.nwci.com A 192.168.1.2
Nomatter what i try, it cant connect :( any help appreciated

You will need to see your administartor abotu this. 2000 will not give permissions to anyone not in the users lists of 2000. Once given permissions you can go to this link and use it as an example to make sure you are setup correctly.
