alrighty then, well i dont know much at all
about comps but i got the mac osx 10.1.3
update thingy and i went to install it and i
couldn't put it anywhere. like on the HD.

The OSX 10.1 CD says that i require OSX
already to install it so does that mean that
i just gotta get the one before 10.1? but in
the package i also got OS 9.2 and i
installed that but OSX still doesn't work. I
hope that makes sence so someone can
help me. please.

You need a full version of OS X, not the update CD. Any full version will probably work, but you need a full version, which you don't currently have.

What you have is the update from 10.0 to 10.1.3.
Thsi will require you to get the 10.0 .

I did all this, got 10, 10.1, 10.1.5 and all the
security updates inbetween. That is why I went to
Jaguar. Moe bells more whistles but all in 1
simple install. www.macsales.com has some 10.0
in stock.
