Subject: Mac OS Deploy
OS: 10.4.6
CPU/Ram: 1.42/512
Model/Manufacturer: Mac Mini's
Comment:
I need to deploy a Mac image here at work. I am currently
using a firewire hard drive but find this to be very time
consuming. I wasn't sure if their was any way to make some
sort of boot disk so that I can then copy my image over to
the mac.

in tiger when u click agree, you agree not to make a image of the os, thier is a kernal called the do not steal kernal that will stop you form doing this. htier r 3rd party programs that try to work around it, but the system runs very slow

jel,
Which programs work around this, and how would you be
able to tell? Do they have a checkbox saying something like
"disable do not steal kernel" or something?
