Comment: OS 9 on an all PC network wanting to print to a Xerox LAN printer. Can't find a driver for Mac. Any ideas on how to configure? VPC ?? TIA< Tom

Reply: (edit)tom: if the xerox printer understands postscript, enable appletalk at the printers lan setup menue (enabled standartly) hook up your mac to the next ethernet hub via your ethernet port (standart), klick on the apple laserwriter (standart) in the chooser (applemenue) the printer should appear on the righthand side window. note: appletalk must be active and set to ethernet (appletalk controllpanel)

Reply: (edit)Finding The Right Driver Is The Key.. My Xerox Printer Has An AppleTalk Client So It Shows Up Under Apple Laserwriter 8 In The Chooser.. Works Great Over The Network.. Most Newer Network Printers Come With AppleTalk Built In..
