Here I have a perfectly good working MAC, but am religated to using my wife's 'pc' (ugh) here in the USA because AOL cannot/willnot allow me onto their broadband connection. After 2 years awaiting a resolution to this problem, it is apparent that a solution is not forthcomming from AOL, and as soon as i can get a DSL connection, I'm outta here. Is there a political or personal annimosity existing between Apple and AOL, or is Bill Gates involved some how in this conspirisy? SIGNED PARANOID RUSTY IN NY
Use a router and you should be able to get online.

all my pc's and mac are connected to the cable modem thru a NETGEAR router (FM114). I recently down loaded the latest version of AOL to my MAC in anticipation of something new, but am experencing the same result, whether I connect directly or thru my router. I've noticed how nicely new versions of AOL can connect automatically on my pc's thru the router with no problem.
