Hi, please do not attack me if this seems vague, i have little knowledge regarding this and i only really need a vague answer.
We have a 21" MAC CRT monitor here, it has both PC and MAC style sockets in the back.
What i want to do it connect a PC to it and by the flick of a switch go from viewing the MAC to viewing the PC. Can this be done?

Get an A/B switchbox for monitors. Make sure it has the right sockets. Only one cable goes to the monitor, and the split at the box goes to the mac and PC.

If it has both connectors, it may have built-in switching capabilities. Check the manual, or call the manufacturer.
