I just formatted the drive and I missed a folder to back up I was wondering if you knew any software that would help me retrieve this folder ?

Hi there,

First - we need to establish if you can still recover the data
you forgot to backup. How did you format the drive? If you
did a quick erase, then you can still recover the data. If you
zeroed out all data on the drive, then you cannot retrieve the
data you want.

There are several commercial solutions for recovering data
from a hard drive. I have not personally used them.
